This project consists of a documentary/landscape photographic series of the Cova do Vapor area.
Cova do Vapor is a region located along the coastline of Costa da Caparica, 20.3 km from Lisbon, Portugal.

With this, I captured photographs not only of the dune landscape but also of the human landscape that grew around these dunes, which influenced its development and encroached on nature — not only showing this village that sits at the edge of the coast, almost isolated by the beach landscape, but also aiming to show the influence that humans have had on the natural landscape over the years, even without realising it.

My photographs are in colour, horizontal, with the horizon line in the middle of the frame, maintaining this aesthetic throughout the series.
